Add the Splitter

Last update.: 22/05/2020

To add a new splitter, the first thing we do is select the "Add" button. Always once we are inside the splitter button, and we see the list, at the bottom the "Add" button will appear, which we must press.

Once the "Add" button is selected, a box will appear on the screen where we will select the type of splitter to incorporate; then the chosen city, the trunk rings, the wardrobe to which it will be connected, the code and number of outlets that this splitter has. If we wish, a comment can be incorporated. And finally, we select the optical fiber of the trunk to connect to the splitter. We can see it with an example in the image below:

Below is a "Generate Outputs" option where you generate the primary Spliter outputs. This option is very important to connect the output of the Splitter to the “Trunk Nap” fiber, therefore, to connect the input fiber of the NAP.

IMPORTANT:
  1. If you make incorrect connections, when you try to apply the profile to a ONU (in "User List> User> ONU"), the created profile will not appear to be selected;
  2. In this screen, the system will block the fibers that are already connected with another Splitter, in the previous registry, allowing to select only unused trunk fibers.

The image below is where the Splitter output will connect to the NAP trunk cable fiber, and if you have all the cable fibers connected to the Splitter, you should connect one by one.

Once the loading of the new splitter is completed, the "Accept" button is selected and it will be entered in the list.
