Softswitch

The Softswitch is the main device in the control layer within an NGN (Next Generation Network) architecture, responsible for providing call control (signaling and service management), call processing, and other services, over a switching network packet (IP). On the first screen what we are going to see is the list of softswitch, we have all the data from it, from its name in the system, its register server, proxy server, etc.

In the case that we want to add a new softswitch, we are going to select the button, here this screen will appear where we will be able to enter all the necessary data about it. Then the values corresponding to each field are loaded. Once the load is finished we will proceed to add so that it is entered into our list.

By pressing the "Save" button you are entered into our list.

It is very important to register the Dial Plan information in the other tab to the right of the SoftSwitch.

                                      

In order to edit a softswitch already entered into the system, we are going to select the "Edit" button, and the same screen above will appear, but already loaded with all the device data.

Once the modification of all a part of the elements is finished, we are going to select the "Save" button, as shown in the image below.

In the search engine that appears on this screen, we will also be able to enter some related value and it will bring us all the softswitches entered with that value to the system, selecting the "Search" button.
